A. I. Danilov, V. E. Lagun, A. V. Klepikov, V. M. Kattsov, S. V. Vavulin. Current Antarctic climate and scenarios of future climatic changes
Information on the short-term changes in the Antarctic climatic system based on available regular observations is reviewed. Most valuable data were collected in the second half of the XX century when Antarctica were covered by the net of scientific bases. This changes became more important because of global warming. Results of the analyses of the atmosphere temperature trends based on last decades data is presented. Some scenarios of possible climate changes in Antarctica based on climate modeling is reviewed.
